Red Rocks Trail - Woodland Park, CO

Guided E-Bike Tour in Woodland Park and Colorado Springs

Explore this 6-mile network of trails near Woodland Park, Colorado. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 90 minutes to complete this tour. This is a popular area for locals to go camping, hiking, and horseback riding, so we will likely encounter other people while exploring. Best times to visit this trail are May through October.

We will start our e-bike tour on Wildflower Alley Loop (2.6mi Green), head downhill on Easy Feeling (0.7mi Green), cross over to the Far East Trail (1.9mi Blue), we will make a stop for photos and to walk around the rock formations at the end of Red Rocks Trail (0.5mi Blue), and finally head back to the parking lot on Southside Trail (0.4 mi Blue) for a total of 6.1 miles.

Meeting Point

From Colorado Springs, travel west on US Highway 24 into the town of Woodland Park. At the intersection of Highways 24 and 67, turn north towards Deckers onto State Highway 67, and travel approximately 3 miles, watching for Forest Service Road 335 on your right.

Skill Level Required

Beginner to Intermediate mountain bike rider experience on single-track trails is required. If you have health concerns, please consult a physician for high altitude compatibility prior to participating. 


The Trails:

Green Trails are wider and smoother, leaving room to get around others with few obstacles to navigate.

Blue Trails become single-track with a few roots, shoots or rocks to manage, beginners may need to get off the bike and walk a few areas.


  • Minimum Age: 16 years old
  • Maximum Rider Weight: 220 lbs.
  • Rider Height Between: 5'1" to 6'5"
